Christ Covenant Church has a plurality of elders (pastors) who give oversight to the ministry. Each elder holds equal authority within the church.

Pastor
Matthew Emadi
Matthew Emadi grew up in Layton, Utah. He studied business at Weber State University where he also played on the men’s basketball team from 2002-2006. In 2008, Matthew moved to Louisville to pursue a seminary education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned his Master of Divinity in 2011 and completed a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies in 2016. Matthew was called back to his home state in 2014 to serve as the Senior Pastor of Christ Covenant Church.
Matthew is married to Brittany and they have six children: Elijah, Jeremiah, Aliyah, Josiah, Judah and Isaiah. In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
He is author of the book: "How Can I Serve My Church" from 9 Marks.

Andrew Jones
Andrew grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He moved to Utah almost 11 years ago to help plant a church in the Valley. Andrew has a passion to teach God’s word, disciple others and glory in the truth that “through the church” the manifold wisdom of God is displayed!
Andrew currently works as an educator in the local school district and is pursuing his Master of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Andrew is married to Ashley and together they are raising 5 children, Charlotte, Judson, Jeremiah, Loretta and Elisabeth.
Andrew enjoys reading, running, playing in the mountains and cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats with his family.
Pastor
Paul Warburg
Paul Warburg grew up in Moreno Valley, CA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical & Theological Studies from Liberty University in 2015, as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017.
Paul moved to Utah in 2021 after learning that it had one of the smallest populations of evangelical Christians in the United States, giving him a desire to help support churches in the area.
Paul currently works as a geopolitical analyst, covering current events around the globe.
Paul is married to Vienna and together they are raising one child, Lucas. In his free time, Paul enjoys reading about theology, geopolitics, and economics, fly fishing, and spending time with his family.
